OCTOBER 15  THE JESUS QUESTIONS  JQ#30 “Do you not see all these things?”  (Matthew 24:02)

LIVING FOR JESUS - Daily Prayer

JESUS, Redeemer of my soul, Lord to think that God has bestowed eternity on every soul that He creates through His Miracle of Life and then He endows each soul with True Freedom of Choice is almost more than our finite intellect can absorb — for why would such an All-powerful, All-knowing Supreme Being put such awesome power in the hands of such weak creatures? Lord, help us to understand that it is our weakness that is a blessing, but only if we recognize both the power that we have in these two miracles of God, Life and Free Will, and the responsibility to use both for the Glory of God the Creator and not to succumb to our weakness and live only for ourselves! Lord Jesus, You came and took on flesh that we might have an “example" of how to live our lives seeking the Father’s Will and let His Power work through our weakness, for only the Creator of Life can guide us in how best to “live” and how to make “good choices”  with our God-given powers of “life and free will”!!! Help us Lord to see that it is our attitude towards others that affect our eternity for You have declared that our eternity is based entirely on the choices we make in “how” we treat others that will determine “how” we ourselves will be treated by God!!!   AMEN

THE JESUS QUESTIONS

Jesus has addressed the “Great Tribulation” (Matthew 24:21) which is marked by the “Abomination of Desolation” (Matthew 24:13) that the prophet Daniel had written about in 600 B.C. and then Jesus confirms that He will return unexpectedly and quickly when He said; “For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” (Matthew 24:27) One can assume that the “Son of Man” will return when the earth is in turmoil for Jesus had said earlier, “…you will hear of wars…nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom…they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you…” (Matthew 24:6-9) and then as soon as Jesus declares the “coming of the Son of Man” He adds, “For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together” which paints a grisly picture of earth when it is at war, nation against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, which could explain why Jesus had earlier made the statement about the “Great Tribulation” — “And unless those days were shortened no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.” (Matthew 24:22) These statements are prophetic and encouraging for the “elect” (of God) for although the “Great Tribulation” will cause much death throughout the world, God will be protecting His "elect”!!! Jesus then reveals a time frame for this “lightning” strike that comes with the “Coming of the Son of Man” as Jesus concludes His “Signs” with: “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven , and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” (Matthew 24:29-30) Therefore Jesus began with a question: “Do you not see all these things?” (Matthew 24:2) and then proceeded with a list of observable “signs” that will mark His “coming”, and the “end of the age”. Therefore we should be looking for His Return and understand that He will Return to save the “elect of God” which will be consistent with the Work God has Given the Son — Jesus said that His first coming was to bring Salvation to God’s people that Returned to Him and His Second Coming will be to bring Salvation to God’s “elect” that have indeed had their spiritual eyes opened and their heart softened so that they could receive the Gift of Grace! Jesus finished His List of Signs with a “Promise” to add to His assurance that “…he who endures to the end shall be saved” (Matthew 24:13) with this: “And [God] will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” (Matthew 24:31) As always, Jesus asks us a Question then gives us the answer and then He always checks to make sure that we “understand” and that we can “see all these things” that God has revealed to His “elect” — all we have to do is open our eyes and observe the Glory of God!!!  It is interesting to note that the term “elect” means “chosen” which gives additional weight to God’s Law of Choice and Consequence and our God-given gift of Free Will — The “Consequence” of “Choosing God” over man is that we are the “elect” because God “chooses” us because we “chose” Him!!!!! Can you not see that “belief” is a “choice” and we must use our God-given “choice” wisely, our “Eternity” depends on our “Choice”!!!!!!!!!

OCTOBER 14  THE JESUS QUESTIONS  JQ#30 “Do you not see all these things?”  (Matthew 24:02)

LIVING FOR JESUS - Daily Prayer

JESUS, O Holy Spirit, let my lips ever praise Thee but more important let my life be lived “in Christ and Christ in me” each and every day! Lord grant it that my heart be forever grateful that Your Grace restores us to the Father and Your Forgiveness frees us from our slavery to sin and the world! Lord may each day continue to begin with writing the Precious Name “JESUS” but if I write it or not, may my heart, mind, and body worship You and witness to Your Glory for it is more important for the kingdom’s sake that Jesus Himself is written on the “Way” that I live my day-to-day life! Lord, may my heart never forget the moving of the Holy Spirit in my life nor the Eternal Truth that He is ALWAYS there to comfort, correct and to guide us if we but call on Him with a humble and contrite spirit.   AMEN

OCTOBER 14  THE JESUS QUESTIONS

Jesus has a point in first asking “Do you not see…” and then making a list of “…all these things?” and as usual that “Divine point” is to convey a Truth of God and reveal God to us through our reflection on His Question as we try as best we can to “understand” the Question Jesus is asking us and to give Him an honest question — for only in knowing the TRUTH OF GOD can we truly “understand [i.e. ‘see’] the Creator’s world in which we live”. God had planned long before the Creation “all these things” that would come about and Jesus is fulfilling that Divine Plan which includes letting God’s people know the Truth of God in order to make their decision about their own eternities! This characteristic of God of letting us “know” ahead of time the details of His Plan is part of The Plan in order that we will recognize the TRUTH OF GOD that He has a DIVINE PLAN in place for how else could Daniel write so clearly about the “abomination of desolation” or Jesus give details of the “Great Tribulation” that follows (Matthew 24:15-22) if it had not already been determined and laid out in detail by the Omnipotent, Omnipresent Creator God? For instance, Daniel first wrote of the Messiah and 600 years later Jesus fulfills the Messianic Prophecy of Daniel so completely that there can be no doubt that JESUS and ONLY JESUS IS the MESSIAH for He fulfilled exactly EVERY DETAIL of the Messianic Prophesy and now Jesus is in effect saying that because He so completely fulfills Daniel’s Prophecy that we must then look at the other prophecies and KNOW that they are from God and therefore they will come about! This can be drawn from what Jesus said as He was describing the “Great Tribulation” that was to follow the “Abomination of Desolation” Daniel described when Jesus said plainly to His disciples See, I have told your beforehand…” (Matthew 24:26) which clearly ties His original Question, “Do you not see all these things?” with the fact that Jesus and Daniel can only list “…all these things…” because they are part of God’s Plan that God Himself revealed to Daniel in a vision and had worked out the details of His Plan with Jesus Himself before the Creation was in place and now as “…all these things…” that were written and told to us “beforehand” happen right before our eyes that certainly we should be able to “SEE” what God reveals so plainly to us! Jesus then added “For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” (Matthew 24:27) So Jesus is telling us “beforehand” that we will be able to “see” God’s Plan unfold and we will KNOW that it was a PLAN told us and written down for us to in order that our FAITH WILL BE MADE SIGHT and we indeed will “see all these things” are from God!!! For only the ONE that KNOWS the PLAN can actually “see” the PLAN unfold in our daily lives and the only “Way” we can KNOW THE PLAN is to LISTEN to the ONE THAT MADE THE PLAN and has the SUPREME POWER TO MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!!! ——— or will you remain in your darkness, blinded to the TRUTH and refuse with your hardened heart to “SEE ALL THESE THINGS”!?!?!?!?!

OCTOBER 13  THE JESUS QUESTIONS  JQ#30 “Do you not see all these things?”  (Matthew 24:02)

LIVING FOR JESUS - Daily Prayer

JESUS, thank You for answering our prayers and I thank the Holy Spirit for putting my concerns before God for I know that I had been going through a period in my prayer life that I was fully aware of the danger of praying for an answer that would reflect my selfish desires so I prayed that the Holy Spirit would pray the Father for me so that the answer would be in His Perfect Time and His Perfect Will for my life. I know that I am a sinner and as such my prayers are from a “worldly” perspective and I am impatient and want things “my way” and I want them “now” — but God wants only “good things” for me and His Ways are not what I could possibly imagine and truly His Ways are BEST! Hopefully, I am now understanding a little better about my prayer life as this time I turned my need over to the Holy Spirit and I had one desire — not my will but Thine be done — and then in His Perfect Timing He has answered my prayer in a Way that far exceeds any answer that I could have imagined!!! Thank You Jesus!!!   AMEN

THE JESUS QUESTIONS

Jesus gave His disciples a list of signs when they had asked Him “what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” (Matthew 24:3) and then Jesus introduced a term that the modern church debates, but both sides agree that the Tribulation will occur because Jesus Himself used the term when He told His disciples: “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.” (Matthew 24:9) Jesus completed His “List of Signs” and announced “…then the end will come.”  (Matthew 24:14) It was at this point that Jesus referred to the prophet Daniel and added a very specific detail to identifying the “Tribulation” when Jesus stated: “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place…” (Matthew 24 :15) Jesus was describing what the ‘abomination of desolation,’  looks like from Daniel’s question that Daniel had asked during his vision of the “little horn” that had overtaken the “Glorious Land” and his power had grown “up to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and some of the stars to the ground and trampled them. [The little horn] even exalted himself as high as the Prince of the host; and by him the daily sacrifices were taken away, and the place of His sanctuary was cast down {?the destruction of the Millennial Temple?}. Because of transgression, an army was given over to the horn to oppose the daily sacrifices; and he cast truth down to the ground… [And Daniel asked in his vision] ‘How long will the vision be, concerning the daily sacrifices and the transgression of desolation, the giving of both the sanctuary and the host to be trampled underfoot?” (Daniel 8:9-13)  Therefore Jesus is describing a future event of the “end time” when a non-believer will stand in the place of God and defile God’s Holy Sanctuary and the desolation of the Holy Place will be from “abominations”, hence the term “abomination of desolation” which will be recognized when the world sees someone claiming to be the “Prince of the host” and he will be standing in God’s Holy Place in the land of Judea offering “abominations” instead of “acceptable” daily sacrifices to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob! Jesus makes it clear that the “abomination of desolation” is not to be taken lightly  for after warning those that are in Judea to flee, Jesus then connects the “abomination of desolation” to the “Great Tribulation” as Jesus states: “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.” (Matthew 24:21) Jesus has been very clear and has given great detail on “all these things” that will happen leading up to and in the “end time” and so if we refuse to “see all these things” then it will not be God’s fault because He has given us every chance to remove the scales from our spiritual eyes in order that we can answer “Yes” when we finally hear with our hearts when Jesus asks each one, “Do you not see all these things which “the Son of God” has so plainly shown us in God’s Holy Scripture!!!???!!!

LIVING FOR JESUS -Daily Prayer

JESUS, You are my God, Lord, and Savior. Teach my soul to “be still and know that You ARE God”! Lord, I plead daily for Your Mercy for daily I fall short in my walk and in my service to You but continually I turn and I know You are the Great and Faithful I AM. Your Promises are true and Your Grace is everlasting. YOU ARE THE ONLY SHELTER for all the storms of life and only through belief and faith in Your Resurrection is there any Hope for mankind. I praise You and the Father and the Holy Spirit — Blessed Trinity!   AMEN

THE JESUS QUESTIONS

Jesus has asked another of His Masterful Questions that not only Teach God’s Truth for the “circumstance” to which it was originally spoken but His Questions are “universal” in their application — His Lessons are God’s Truth and as such are ONE and the same and both therefore ARE EVERLASTING! Jesus has been a Living Testimony to the Grace, Mercy, and Power of God and the Holy Trinity and now His disciples are about to see the culmination of the Prophecy concerning the Messiah. Soon Jesus will take His Place on the Cross at Calvary and complete God’s Plan of Salvation that was determined even before the dawn of Creation! God has spoken through His Prophets and has led His Chosen People to the Promised Land by other Prophets like Moses and Joshua and now Jesus is going to “Fulfill past Prophecy” and in this section introduced by this Divinely Inspired Question, “Do you not see all these things?” (Matthew 24:2) Jesus, as the Son of God is giving a Divine Prophecy of the Future of God’s Chosen People which after His Death, Burial, and Resurrection will be extended to “whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish but will have life everlasting” (John 3:16) Jesus has just given His disciples a list of signs that “are the beginning of sorrows” (Matthew 24:8) and with these “signs” Jesus has warned all “believers” that the greatest issue in the future will be to avoid being “deceived” — for many will come and deny that Jesus IS the Messiah and will put forth a “false gospel” which will lead men away from God and back to the “doctrines of men” which is the pathway to destruction of the body and the soul — souls that are “deceived” will deny Christ and reject God and be doomed to eternal torment in hell!!! The prophet Daniel in the 6th Century B.C. had prophesied the rise and fall of four great kingdoms of the earth from a dream that proved God is in control of the world and it is God that controls the rise and fall of nations and kingdoms. Scofield wrote of Daniel, “Daniel’s prophecy of the seventy “weeks” (‘sevens’) (vv. 24-27 [Daniel 9]) provides the chronological frame for Messianic prediction from Daniel to the establishment of the kingdom on earth and also a key to its interpretation…The entire prophecy is concerned primarily with Daniel’s “people” (Israel) and their “holy city” (Jerusalem) … Two princes are mentioned; the first is named the “Messiah the Prince” (Daniel 9:25); the second is described as “the prince who is to come” (Daniel 9:26), a reference to the little horn of ch. 7:8, whose “people” destroy the rebuilt Jerusalem after the cutting off of the Messianic Prince. (Daniel 9:26)” (Taken from the Centennial edition of the Scofield Study Bible, The Holy Bible, New King James Version Copyright* 1982 by Thomas Nelson, Inc. released by the Oxford University Press, New York, 2009) So Daniel had given the Messianic prophecy of the First and Second Coming of the Messiah and Jesus is now sitting in front of His disciples 600 years after Daniel wrote his prophecy and is both fulfilling the “First Coming of the Messiah” and is giving signs of His Second Coming. Jesus continues to describe how Daniels prophecy will play out as Jesus tells His disciples: “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing  in the holy place (whoever reads, let him understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.” (Matthew 24:16-17) By Jesus quoting Daniel to His disciples He was making it clear that He was fulfilling the prophecy of the "First Coming” and now the disciples can more clearly understand or “see all these things” including the destruction of the great temple of Solomon and the end of the age. One cannot read Holy Scripture without “seeing all these things” that are first revealed to the most powerful but Godless man on the earth in Daniel’s time through a prophet of God and then read about the fulfillment of prophecy in God’s Perfect Timing as nations rise and fall on God’s Schedule! We live at one of those “special times” in history that our generation is witnessing the fulfillment of those prophecies, some of which were written over 3000 years ago and we should be able to appreciate that the Holy Scriptures document both the writing and the fulfilling of God's Plan as we watch ancient prophecies being fulfilled in our daily world headlines! Surely this JESUS Question is as appropriate today as it was when Jesus first spoke it, “Do you not see all these things?” (Matthew 24:2)

LIVING FOR JESUS - Daily Prayer

JESUS, King of kings, Lord of lords, Prince of Peace, You Alone are Worthy! I lift up my praises to Your Glory and Honor of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Lord, it is beyond our mortal understanding why the Divine Creator would create us in Your Image, endow us with Your Free Will knowing that we all would abuse our Right to Choose, but in spite of our transgressions against You, that You would still provide for our Salvation in order that we might through the repentance of our willful disobedience regain fellowship with You. Your Ways are indeed higher than our ways and Your Thoughts higher than our thoughts as the Heavens are infinitely higher than the earth! Lord, You have provided for all our needs, physical and spiritual and all our praise is due to You. My prayer is naught for me for I have been blessed beyond degree, but I pray only to be a blessing to those You place in my path. May I be a True Witness of Your Infinite Mercy and Grace!   AMEN

THE JESUS QUESTIONS

Jesus and the Holy Spirit proved by applying this Jesus Question JQ#30 to America’s historic 2016 national election that the Holy Bible IS God’s Holy Word “and that from childhood [we as a nation] have known the Holy Scriptures which are able to make [our nation] wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the [nation] may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:15-17  Surely if we as a nation want to make the world a better place we need to be “thoroughly equipped for every good work”!!! The Holy Scriptures also records God’s intent when He originally freed His chosen nation from their bondage and slavery and led them to the Promised Land as God Himself declared, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity…” (Jeremiah 29:11-14a)  These Scriptures speak to me and say that we as a nation have been enslaved to the “doctrines of power seekers” and  if we want “true freedom” and to make the world a better place with a hope and a future for everyone that we must continue to call upon the Lord! It is through God alone that we will achieve “world peace” and that “goodness” will prevail over “evil”!  Can you not see that the world is moving away from God and that the governments of the world are being gathered into a “One World Government” and this “Global [Godless] State” has as its foundation the “doctrines of men” who have distanced themselves from the commands of God via the new age with the doctrine of “separation of church and state” {{think about this: How can you have a New Age if there is not an “End Time” of the Old Age}}!?!?!?!? Why would we want to separate ourselves from our Creator and our Heavenly Father who has great plans and good thoughts for His Creation???  This point would be a good place to ask again, Do you not see all these things?” (Matthew 24:2) and to take special note that Jesus is warning us, “Take heed that no one deceives you.” (Matthew 24:4) This point in time, especially as we see the world showing so many signs of the “end times”, that we should revisit the Words of Jesus as He pronounced “signs”  of the “end of the age” for surely we see in today’s headlines that “…nations [are] against nations, and kingdom against kingdom. And there [are] famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places…” (Matthew 24:7) Surely we are witnessing a time in our world like never before where “lawlessness abounds” and “the love of many has grown cold” (Matthew 24:12) as we read about all the mass murders which have never happened before and also the cold-blooded killing of the police that have the motto “To Serve and Protect” us, the general public!?!?! The world news is a perfect argument that the Holy Scriptures are “Prophetic” for only the blind can not see the daily headlines as the fulfillment of “Prophecy” and that as a nation there is only one “SAFE PLACE” in the world and that is to turn to the ONE TRUE AND LIVING GOD WHO has “good thoughts toward us” and has the POWER to TRULY PROTECT AND PROVIDE and keep His Promise that “…he who endures to the end shall be saved…” !!! (Matthew 24:13) ——— again the Holy Spirit pleads for us as a nation to open our eyes and answer honestly, “Can you not see all these things?” (Matthew 24:2) !?!?!?!?!?

THE PARABLE OF THE SEED

Typed under direction by the Holy Spirit August 2001

There once was a man who received an inheritance of land, servants and many buildings that were well stocked with equipment, tools, and various items. As he stood surveying his inheritance of land for the first time, the man offered up a prayer. He prayed that the inheritance would be blessed and that he would be given the strength and wisdom to be able to maintain his inheritance and make the land fruitful so that he may pass on the inheritance to his sons and their sons. The man, knowing the necessity and value of hard work, immediately rolled up his sleeves and said, “Where shall I start?”

Wisely the man said to himself, “I shall learn of this land and the servants and I shall learn how to use all the tools presented to me with this blessing that I may multiply my inheritance.” With that, the man went forth to take inventory of his inheritance. The first building the man entered was filled with many wonderful tools and at the far end of the building was a large window that overlooked a field of newly tilled soil. Ah, said the man to himself, I see that the ground has been prepared for planting but I know little of farming. Then wisely to himself the man correctly reasoned, “In order to obtain a harvest, the earth needs seed.”  The man continued his thoughts about planting and reasoned further that since the ground has been broken that it must be time to plant the seed. The man believed in taking immediate action and quickly pushed up his sleeves above the elbow and embarked on a search of the building to see if he could locate the seed and the tools he would need for planting. Indeed on the wall adjoining the big window was several sets of long drawers in a large wooden cabinet. Upon investigation of the contents of those long drawers, the man discovered a multitude of seeds. As the man was taking count of the many different kinds of seeds he had discovered, he had another thought, “How shall I know what fruit or grain these seeds shall bear?”

The man took one of the seeds out of the long drawer and walked back to the window that was overlooking the freshly tilled soil. Directly in front of the big window sat a small wooden table with a simple hand-made stool pushed underneath. The man pulled the simple stool from under the small wooden table and seated himself in front of the window overlooking the field. The top of the table was obviously worn with time but yet it and the stool were comfortably smooth. The man set the single seed in the middle of the table. There was nothing else on the table except a beam of sunlight and the tiny seed he had placed there.  The brilliant light coming through the large sunlit window made the tiny black seed sparkle and stand out dramatically against the soft tan top of the small wooden table. The man looked intently at the tiny seed that was now the centerpiece of the sunlit table. The man asked inwardly a second time as he pondered the tiny seed and its mysterious miracle, “How indeed shall I know what fruit or grain this seed shall bear?”

The man in his many travels had developed the habit of taking counsel of knowledgeable persons when encountering new experiences. He would then listen carefully to those persons having knowledge associated with that experience and strived to fully understand their teachings. Looking inside himself for previously learned lessons that may apply to the seed, and taking consideration of the mystery of the tiny seed on the small wooden table, the man brought to his mind two verses from his studies of the wise men of his religion. The first verse spoke of a parable about several men that were given different talents and then each were later questioned as to what they had accomplished with those talents. The second verse spoke of knowing the tree by the fruit that it bears.

Again the man observed that the seed lying on the table was not growing and inwardly stated, “The seed will not grow unless it is planted.” The man continued with his argument by thinking that the seed will grow if it is planted correctly in the freshly tilled soil that seemed to be calling him from just outside the window. Correctly the man declared to himself, “If I desire to grow wheat and it is not a seed of wheat that I plant, then even if I planted the seed and it grew, I would not be growing wheat as I desire.” The man continued his thought and reasoned that if he planted the seed, the seed would grow only the fruit or grain that lay within the seed. Regardless of what fruit or grain that man desires to grow from the seed, the seed will only produce fruit or grain that lies silently within the seed --- regardless of the planting or the desire of the man. A still small voice spoke to the man, “The seed will grow what lies within the seed, not what lies within the desires of men”. The man thought on the soft knowing words of the still small voice and said to himself, “All my faith, good intentions, and hard work will be for naught if I desire to grow wheat and plant not the seeds of wheat.” And again the man gazed on the tiny seed lying all by itself in the sunlight on the smooth wooden table and still questioned, “How shall I know what fruit or grain this seed shall bear?”

Thinking now like the parable of the talents given to the men, the man admonished himself of the seed, “If I do not plant this seed, I will not produce more seed nor will I harvest any fruit or grain. Therefore, I must busy myself with planting the seed if I desire to harvest”. However, the man thought, I truly do not know what seed this is so before I plant it, surely I should know what fruit or grain this seed shall produce. I could simply plant this seed and see what fruit or grain that it bears the man continued, and then I will know what kind of seed this is by the fruit or grain it produced. The man thought on the seed and the planting some more and marveled at the mystery of the story of the very tiny mustard seed which was also in the words recorded by the wise men. The man knew from his readings that if he planted the seed in good faith that he could move mountains. The man reasoned about the tiny seed on the table that he could reap at least one harvest if he planted the seed in a field of good faith and nurtured it with good intentions. The man picked the seed up off the smooth table, firmly gripped it in his hand, turned his face to the sun coming through the window and looked out on the newly tilled soil. With all his best intentions, the man determinedly vowed, “I shall plant this seed and make it grow, then I will know of the seed.” With that, the man confidently turned to search for tools to accomplish the planting of the seed.

By this time the seed had completely become the focal point of the man’s existence and his recent inheritance. The man began to realize that the seed would open a new universe and this new universe would encompass planting, tilling, growing, harvesting, storing, and getting the seed to market. He realized the land, the servants, and the well-stocked buildings, indeed the total of his inheritance, as well as himself, all existed for a single purpose --- to serve the tiny seed. The man slowly opened his fist and looked at that one tiny seed in his now shaking hand and realized that to coax the miracle from this one tiny seed that he had a very, very large task ahead of him. A flicker of insight sparked a humble inquiry from the man, “Have I inherited the seed or has the seed inherited me?” As the man thought of the enormous task of pulling the miracle from the tiny seed, he realized that the little seed and the seemingly simple task of putting it in the ground had quickly become a monumental array of infinite tasks. What once had started out as an infinitesimally small seed, now seemed like a universe of universes and those universes were growing and expanding at an exponential rate.  Suddenly the seed had become very heavy and weighted in his hands.

The man laboriously set the seed back on the table, took a deep breath and stood quietly observing the miracle lying there in the middle of the small wooden table in the form of one tiny seed. The man slumped to the stool and wiped the sweat from his previously undaunted brow that had just moments ago furrowed so deeply when the enormity of the miracle had weighted the man’s entire existence. Slowly now, the man took a second deep breath as he pondered on the tiny seed that had now dominated his inheritance. How quickly this seed has filled my thoughts mused the man, and indeed even the building seems small and insignificant compared to this seed and its miracle. With new respect and admiration, the man reflected on the tiny seed in complete awe. Now a new and fully humbled man sat on the stool realizing the miracle of the singular seed lying quietly in full sunlight on the small wooden table. I shall consider my inheritance further said the man and he bowed his head in prayer.

In a twinkling the seed had taught the man about the true responsibility of his inheritance. The seed had also impressed upon the man that the miracle of life does not exist in the land, the landlord, the servants, nor any material thing that man collects, and certainly the miracle lies neither in certificates of ownership nor fancy titles of nobility. The seed had shown the man that the true miracle of life lies in the seeds that are planted and how we nurture them with our existence. Each harvest in life is the result of planting tiny seeds and the care we take with those seeds between the planting and the harvest. The man raised his head from his prayer and again gazed on the miracle of the seed. Calmly now, the man said to himself, “Surely, if one wishes to grow wheat, one must plant the seeds of wheat. I shall be known by the fruit that I bear and I shall harvest from my existence only what lies within the seeds that I plant.”

The man picked up the seed again but this time he saw that his inheritance lies within the seed and marveled that he had first thought that the seed was merely an inventory item of his inheritance. Holding the seed safely in the palm of those hands that had just seconds before been folded in prayer, the man saw the seed anew. He turned with the seed and looked at the freshly tilled soil through the sun filled window and asked for a blessing on the seed knowing that if the seed was blessed, the man’s life , his inheritance, and all future generations would be blessed,. The man took the seed and pressed it to his heart and speaking from a new understanding said, “Before I plant this seed, I will know of the seed”. Softly the still small voice answered the man, “By honoring the truth of the seed, you shall harvest your own legacy.”

The man then went forth in grace to find those that could tell him of the seed and the man found all that had wisdom of the seed and took their counsel. The man learned the many lessons of the seed and kept that wisdom close to his heart. As a symbol of that knowledge and its ultimate importance, the man from that day forward kept one tiny seed in his vest pocket next to his heart. With his focus firmly on the seed and its miracle, the man indeed knew he could protect his inheritance. The man’s life was blessed with many fruitful harvests and he had many sons.

One afternoon the man’s eldest son went seeking advice from his father and found the old man sitting at his usual place on the simple stool at the small wooden table by the big window at the end of the seed barn. The sun was coming across the field of newly tilled soil into the big window where the old man was sitting. The old man’s head appeared to be bowed in prayer and a single beam of sunlight gave the illusion of a halo sitting on his father’s thin gray hair. The old man’s leathered hand was closed tightly in a fist and lying in the middle of the small wooden table. The eldest son waited for several minutes but then noticing his father had not moved, walked slowly to his father’s side. When the son reached his father, he gazed down at the peaceful praying figure and knew that his father had passed away. The son smiled because he knew that this was his father’s favorite place and planting of the seed was his father’s favorite time. He then gently took his father’s hand from the smooth wooden table, opened the old man’s fist, and BEING REVERENTLY HELD in the middle of his father’s wrinkled palm was one tiny seed. The son marveled at the tiny seed and how it sparkled in the sunlight in the soft leathered tan of the old man’s hand. He reverently took the seed from his father’s palm, grasped the tiny black seed in his own fist, and placed it firmly against his heart. The son then looked at his loving father and vowed, “Surely my father will be remembered for the many wonderful seeds that he planted and the fruit of his many labors.”

The son took the tiny seed and placed it reverently in the middle of the small wooden table. The sun coming through the big window made the tiny black seed sparkle and the old man’s hands now appeared folded in prayer on his lap. The scene of the brilliant sunlight falling on his father sitting with his head bowed at the small wooden table that held a single tiny seed struck the son that his father was praying even now for a blessing on the tiny seed. The son vowed that the tiny black seed would remain always on that small wooden table in honor of his father. The son quietly bowed his own head, and gently touching the strong hand of his father, asked his own blessing on the seed and the soul of his loving father. The son prayed that the seed and the legacy of his father would both be blessed for all generations. He then prayed that his sons and his son’s sons would always remember the great lessons his father had taught about the seed and the honor the seed would bring to each generation. Through the seed, the old man’s legacy was passed down for all generations and the seed was indeed blessed and produced much good fruit and grain, generation after generation.

One tiny seed sitting all by itself on a small wooden table ended up affecting literally thousands and thousands of lives for the betterment of all generations that followed. “Know what seeds you are planting and plant your seeds carefully for your children shall inherit the seeds of your harvest.”

OCTOBER 10  LIVING FOR JESUS - Daily Prayer

JESUS, Praise be to God from whom ALL BLESSINGS FLOW — Let us always remember that our “inalienable rights” are never guaranteed by any document or decree of mankind from “any culture or government”“inalienable rights” are bestowed by the Creator, and no government nor edict of man can amend those “inalienable rights” — but only by the Grace and Mercy of the Creator can they be restored to a nation, and that restoration will only be accomplished through a Repentant and contrite National Spirit that yearns to return to God the Creator and His “inalienable rights — i.e., rights that cannot be repealed or restrained by human laws”!!!  Lord Jesus, You have shown Yourself Mighty to Your Remnant Body of Christians — Now embolden us with the Holy Spirit that Your Church can now be a Mighty Source of Healing for our Spiritual Blindness and bring America back to Your LIGHT. Forgive us of our collective sin of letting the “doctrines and traditions” of a corrupt political system establish our national morality! Lord Jesus, lead us back to Your Moral Standard in which “all men are created equal” and we will once again Trust in God to make AMERICA a “Chosen Nation” and that we will be known not as “hypocrites” but as a True Christian Nation once again and a LIGHT to the world!!!   AMEN

THE JESUS QUESTIONS

Jesus asked this Question over 2000 years ago and yesterday the Holy Spirit revealed how to apply the Truth of God to America’s “2016 historic” national election for a new President and this blog from the Holy Spirit’s guiding is asking America to look at “all these things” that had happened to America prior to 2016 as the body of previously elected officials had established a set of “new political doctrines” that was taking AMERICA away from God and removing His Spirit from our heritage upon which this “once great nation” was founded! It appears that many Americans indeed could see that if we continued on that free-fall from God and His Moral Standard that we would have “Progressively” disintegrated into oblivion as a nation. Today the Spirit’s leading is reminding us that there will not be any “True Change” in our nation unless we do more than pay “lip service” to the “TRUTH OF GOD” but return as a nation to the Source of TRUE POWER ——— the SUPREME POWER of GOD ALMIGHTY that has established the “inalienable rights” that guarantees TRUE LIBERTY AND EQUALITY FOR ALL MEN — regardless of race, gender, or national identity. God IS the CREATOR and there is only ONE TRUTH, HIS TRUTH and only if we speak the TRUTH IN LOVE will it be known.

Natural rights are those that are not dependent on the laws or customs of any particular culture or government, and therefore universal and inalienable (i.e., rights that cannot be repealed or restrained by human laws). The concept of natural law is closely related to the concept of natural rights.

I quote from Oswald Chambers “My Utmost for His Highest” a paragraph from his commentary on NOVEMBER 9 “Sacred Service” that summarizes our path back to what made America Great in the first place, and I quote: “When we preach the historical facts of the life and death of our Lord as they are conveyed in the New Testament, our words are made sacred. God uses these words, on the basis of His redemption, to create something in those who listen which otherwise could never have been created…We must make sure that [as a nation] we are living in such harmony with God that as we proclaim His truth He can create in [the world] those things which He alone can do.”   We will never be a “Great Nation” without returning to the True Source of Greatness — it worked for the “founding fathers” and since God’s Power has not diminished even slightly it will work for America if we return to God’s Great Leadership — once again the world will see America as the Promised Land! Can you NOT SEE that this is a time for America to roll up our sleeves and get busy restoring our nation to God and let Him make us a “Great Nation” once again!!!

LIVING FOR JESUS - Daily Prayer

JESUS, Praise Your Holy Name, for that Name is above all names! The Name of Jesus is Holy and Worthy of Praise for the Great Love demonstrated by the One that was born of flesh to live the Perfect Sinless Life yet Sacrificed Himself for our sin and the One Eternal Creator God that gave a sinful world His Only Begotten Son as a Gift of Grace ——— Grace is God’s Out-pouring of His Great Love for the world that He Loved So! Jesus, You were spotless and without blemish in Your walk “in-the-flesh” to free the world from sin and even though our transgressions and iniquities are many, God has provided for the Remission of Sins through our Repentance and belief in the Sacrifice of Jesus, the  Son and the Lamb of God! O Glorious Love, YOU DIED for our sins, O Lord, I BELIEVE and I yield my sin to You, for it is no longer my sin but Your sin that You bore on the cross for me! Let me therefore through the Righteousness that You have imparted to me worship You with all Honor and Praise and to serve You in Spirit and Truth!   AMEN

THE JESUS QUESTIONS

Jesus had just told His disciples about the forthcoming destruction of the temple in Jerusalem and we should understand in our modern world that if God was going to destroy the Grandest temple every built to house the Presence of God in His Holy City Jerusalem because the nation of Israel no longer followed God and His Commands but had fallen into “hypocrisy” then what do you think is the penalty of any nation that is guilty of that deadly cancer of “hypocrisy” among its leaders?  Any nation that has been blessed by the Presence of God but then embraces the rejection of God and His Commands will surely be subject to the same judgement and penalty imposed on God’s chosen nation!?! Indeed Jesus had pronounced “Judgement” on all those that no longer follow God and His Commandments but choose as a nation to follow “the doctrines and traditions of men (our ‘elected’ officials)” — men that have abused and defiled the responsibility of the offices they held that had originally been instituted at the command of God making everyone who accepted the office to be responsible to God!  It was at this point of my reading that the Holy Spirit brought to my mind the fact that our elected officials have always been “sworn into office” and it is not a coincidence that the “swearing into office” has always involved putting their hand on the Holy Bible nor that the American court systems have always had those giving “testimonies” put their hand on the HOLY BIBLE and swear “to tell the TRUTH, the WHOLE TRUTH, and NOTHING BUT THT TRUTH, SO HELP ME GOD!The Holy Spirit then asked me, “Why would God punish His “chosen” nation Israel and destroy the temple in His Holy City Jerusalem because the nation had rejected His Standards and had begun following the “doctrines of men” and then not punish America that had “sworn so many oaths to God” but have now rejected God and His Standards and replaced the Ten Commandments with “Roe vs Wade”, embraced so many abominations against God, and have made ‘legal’ those things that were at one time in our nation an ‘affront’ to God?”?!?!?! There is no way we can enter into any “election” for future leaders of America without admitting the existence of the Living God and our national abandonment of His Standards that was so prevalent in the founding of America and was the Godly-Moral Standard of everything this nation did as it rose to being the greatest nation and power in the world! God is not dead — nor has He lost any of His Supreme Power and Authority — nor will He withhold His Judgement from a nation that continues to reject Him! He would not do it for Israel and He will not do it for America — there is no nation nor any people that are exempt from their responsibility to acknowledge their Creator that has blessed them and made them a great nation and a blessed people — America was not made great because we rejected God like we are doing in this generation,  nor can America escape the “judgement of God” and the TRUTH of GOD that unless we turn back to God and return to His Standards that we  as a former “Christian” nation will certainly “reap what we have sown”! The question that Jesus asked His disciples when He “departed from the temple” and then announced its “total destruction” applies each Election Day in America as we look back on our heritage as a “Christian Nation” based on the Moral Standards set forth by God in His Holy Bible and how can we “not see” that God is still in control and will punish any nation that has previously embraced His Blessings and Bountiful Provisions but is now so full of “hypocrisy” that God the Creator and Great Provider is not allowed in public office — God has given us so many examples for us to observe and now the Voice of Jesus, the Son of God asks a once God-fearing nation:
