I'm Finally Home / A Poem

I’m Finally Home

When I’m dead
And when I’m GONE
Laugh and sing —
Cause I’m not HERE
I’m Finally Home

This earthen vessel broken
And cold as a STONE
Is not who I am —
Be of good CHEER
I’m Finally Home

My Faith and my Spirit
Are healthy and STRONG
Celebrate in my victory
Shed not a TEAR
I’m Finally Home

I’m finally resting
I’m singing His SONG
In His Peace rejoicing
No worries nor FEAR
I’m Finally Home

Weep not nor tremble
For the Greatest Love KNOWN
Just put His arms ‘round me
Said soft, sweet, and CLEAR

“You’re Finally Home”!!
